OME: Oh My Edward

A recent addition to the silver screen brought this man back into my life. Eek I sound like a stalker. I’ll take a step back and explain. Anyone of my generation will be familiar with Harry Potter…ok anyone of any generation will know about Harry Potter, but it’s my generation who would have noticed the similarity between the Goblet of Fire and a certain fanged-film in the cinemas now. Or so you would think…

It seems it’s not only to the something-teen year olds who have developed somewhat of a crush on Mr Pattinson – otherwise known as Cedric Diggory, Edward Cullen, RPattz, Spunk Ransom and Bobby Dupea. Could this guy have any more aliases? – In fact, it appears our mothers have joined on the bandwagon – yeah like there more likely to get any!

But who can really blame them? This guys has the face that could launch a thousand ships…wait wasn’t that Helen of Troy? Never mind. What I’m basically saying is he’s hot, and the perfect Edward – and this is coming from a long-time Twilight follower. But, in the words of Bella, ‘he’s even more unbelievable behind the face’. Maybe it’s because he’s a Brit…ok I’ll admit a large part is due to his heritage (you gotta love your own right?), but I think his finest quality – and this is from the point of view of a fan, obviously I don’t know him L – is how laid back he is. Watching him in interviews you get a real sense that he is an ordinary guy with an extraordinary job and he is truly grateful (and surprised) to have that job. No one wants to watch another big-headed actor talk themselves up *cough* Samuel L. Jackson *cough*. He is a true breathe of fresh air - and I apologise for the tired cliché.
